It has been designed and carefully tested to give you years of reliable service and pleasure. Please follow these simple guidelines to enable you to get the very best from your Titan Watch.
HANDLING AND CARE
Protection and cleaning: Your Titan watch is a precision instrument and contains delicate components. It is advisable not to subject it to severe impact, rough usage, and exposure to caustic substances, extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields.
A watch gets dirty from contact with sweat, dust and other substances, Clean your watch periodically by using a soft, slightly damp cloth. This will greatly increase the life of the watch. Do not use any solvents, commercial cleaners, detergents, adhesives, paints or cosmetic sprays.
Plating: Your Titan Watch has been hard plated using state-of-the art processes. We are therefore able to offer a special warranty on the gold plating of your Titan watch and original Titan metal bracelet covering all manufacturing defects that is valid for ONE YEAR from the date of Purchase, The exact details of the warranty are listed under the Terms and Conditions of Warranty
Don't wear watch along with bangles (Make scratches/ damage the watch surfaces).
Note: Since both Ion plating and Wet plating process is being used, both gold plating spec to be retained.
Water resistance: The water resistance specification for which your Titan watch is designed is marked on the back of the watch. If your watch is not marked Water Resistant, then you must take care not to get your watch wet as it may damage the watch. If marked Water Resistant, your watch can withstand up to two atmospheres of water pressure and is suitable for contact with splashes of water or moderate rain but not for heavy rain, swimming or diving.
Take the following precautions, even for water Resistant watches:
Battery Care / Power Conservation: Your Titan watch is factory-fitted with a superior, long-life battery. We are therefore, able to offer a warranty on the battery valid for one year from the date of retail purchase.
When your watch begins to lose time or the movement of the second hand is erratic, get the battery replaced with a TITAN battery as soon as possible at a Titan customer Service Centre. Leakage due to a dead battery could cause serious damage to the watch.
Except for watches with only two hands - If your watch is expected to be out of use for a long time, stop it by pulling the crown to the outermost position. This activates the special power conservator switch and prevents battery drain
In order to maintain the water resistance of watch over a time, it is recommended the following:

Servicing and Repairs: Skilled technicians, in a dust-free environment have carefully assembled your watch. Do not open or allow any unauthorized person to open the watch, as this could cause damage to the watch and invalidate the conditions of the warranty.
For routine servicing or in the event of any malfunction, take your watch to a Titan Customer Service Centre. These are operated by factory-trained technicians and are equipped to provide comprehensive service and repairs.
To obtain service and repairs under warranty, do remember to carry the certificate of Warranty with your watch.
Periodic Checks
To ensure trouble-free performance of your Titan Watch, it is recommended that you have it checked once in two years at a Titan Customer Service Centre.
Terms and Conditions of Warranty
We warranty your Titan watch against any manufacturing defect for two years from the date of original retail purchase. Subject to the exceptions listed below. We specifically warranty the plating and battery of your watch for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. Titan Customer Service Centres will honour this warranty, only if the certificate of Warranty is dated and signed by an Authorised Titan Dealer at the time of purchase.
This warranty does not cover the following:

- Water-resistance of the watch to be ensured after every opening of the watch,
- After watch time / date setting push he crown back to normal position
- Avoid subjecting the watch to very sudden temperature changes,
- Avoid dropping or knocking the watch (the water-resistance should be tested after every heavy shock),
- Avoid using the operating parts, push buttons or setting crown, under water

- Damage caused by mishandling, including damage to the mineral glass or acrylic crystal and strap or bracelet.
- Damage caused by the watch being opened anywhere other than a Titan Customer Service Centre.
- Damage due to water entry in a watch that is not marked Water Resistant.
- Plating damage due to exposure to chemical solvents, commercial cleaners, detergents, adhesives, cosmetic sprays etc.
- Plating damage arising from any misuse or abuse of the watch such as scratches, dents or any other physical damage.
- Plating wear-off on the underside of the metal bracelet.
- Any consequential damage or loss arising on account of the aforesaid

Can I change the battery in my Titan watch? Or should I take it to the nearest Titan service centre?
You should take it to the nearest Titan service centre to avoid any impairment in the working of the watch.
Visit the nearest Titan Service Centre.
Exchange policy is in force at WoTs. Details of the policy:
- When a customer purchases a watch and mentions it if for gifting, the WoT will issue a card.
- The watch can be exchanged within 3 months of DoP.
- While giving the watch to WoT, the customer has to give back the primary packaging, unused warranty card also.
- If any signs of usage are found like scratches or dents on case, bracelet by the CRO at the showroom, it will not be eligible for replacement.
